Imagine opening your messaging app to a sea of conversations whirling with a chaotic mix of work chats, family gossip, and that one important conversation with an investor you met at a conference. You're not alone. We've all been there, frantically scrolling through a sea of messages. In our hyper-connected world, the line between personal and professional communication is blurrier than ever.
But what if you could organize this chaos?
Say hello to Port's Folders feature. All you need to do is create different folders and add your chats to them. Send your boss to your “Work” folder, your funny uncle to the “Family ❤️” folder, and that founder you met at the networking event to the “Networking Event” folder. Make as many folders as you want and begin decluttering.
Here’s how you can create folders:
Step 1: Go to the “Folders” tab and click on the “Create” button on the top right.
Step 2: Name the new folder, set the “Chat Settings,” and press “Create folder.”
Step 3: Use Quick Actions to move your contacts to the folder or create a new Superport for people to join that folder.
It's that simple.
Here’s why you need chat folders in your life:
Finding that urgent work message doesn't feel like a treasure hunt.
Switch contexts in a snap. Jumping from work mode to family time? Just tap a different folder. It's like changing hats, but easier and less messy.
Got some chats you'd rather keep on the down-low? Tuck them into a "Private" folder. It's like your digital safe space.
Create a folder for each project. All relevant chats in one place? Hello, efficiency!
Remember that cool person you met at the conference? Pop them in your "Networking" folder. Your future self will thank you.
Whether you're a neat freak or organized chaos is your style, customise folders your way. It's your digital world; we're just helping you tidy it up.
Ready to bring some order to your digital life? Check out Port.
Happy Foldering!
